The Jack LaLanne Power Juicer works by grinding the fruit or vegetables into pulp. The juicer then spins the pulp around at a very high rate of speed which forces the liquid and very small particles through a very fine mesh. After all of the juice is forced through the mesh, the Jack LaLanne Power Juicer then forces the remaining pulp into a receptacle.

The Jack LaLanne Power Juicer comes with an accessory package, a blade release key, an extra blade, and plenty of documentation in the form of several books. The accessory package includes a filter brush that makes cleaning the filter easier, a 36-ounce measuring cup that fits perfectly under the no-drip spout, a platform that holds the power juicer and pulp basket. There is also an overflow platform in case of accidents.

The books include a recipe book with lots of useful juicer recipes. There is also another recipe book called “Jack LaLanne’s Power Juicer: Recipes for Healthy Living” that includes recipes for freezes, dips, salsa, muffins, breakfast foods, soups, salad dressings, and more.

Jack LaLanne Power Juicer

The juicer comes fully assembled, so there really is nothing to set up. You just take it out of the box and you’re good to go. When it comes to breaking down the unit for cleaning, it only takes about 30 seconds to completely disassemble the juicer and it is quite easy to clean.

The first step in cleaning the juicer is to take it apart and wash out the top of the unit, the measuring cup and the pulp basket. You then use the key to unscrew the blade and wash it. Next, remove the basket and wash it. Last, take out the bottom piece and wash it. It’s best to wash the juicer immediately after juicing so the pulp doesn’t dry and stick to the inside parts of the juicer, making cleanup much more difficult. The Jack LaLanne Power Juicer is dishwasher safe, so you can simply disassemble it and put it in your dishwasher.

I have never heard a power juicer that is this quiet, but don’t be fooled by that. The motor is very powerful. I’m not sure how Jack LaLanne did it, but he built on of the most powerful centrifugal juicers I’ve ever seen and also made it very quiet.

The juicer blade is made out of surgical stainless steel. It looks and feels very much like a cheese grater instead of a blade.

The Jack LaLanne Power Juicer rips food apart with ease. It makes a great deal of delicious juice and I’m very happy with it. When I checked the pulp in the back of the juicer it did contain some moisture but not more than a couple of drops. There was no liquid standing in the pulp container.

I am a baker and I also use the pulp for breads, muffins, and even cookies. It makes heartier, healthier breads. I also use the pulp in my compost pile which eventually ends up in my vegetable garden.

I like my Jack LaLanne Power Juicer and I am glad I made the purchase. It is an extremely good value for the price. I highly recommend this juicer.
